As a leader, you’re not there just to run a business. You're there to create an energy, a community, a consciousness that’s greater than the sum of its parts. Your head may have gotten you where you are, but your heart is the key to your next level of success.
I know because I have first hand experience. I wasn’t always a coach, until about 5 years ago I was an executive at IBM. I worked with some of the best and brightest people in the world, I sat in boardrooms I didn’t feel like I belonged in (and figured out how to conquer that Impostor Syndrome), I broke rules, took big risks, and had a ton of fun. I built a reputation for getting things done and being loved while doing it.
I’m not saying you have to be best friends with everyone you work with, but when you care about each other, when you lead from your heart instead of your head, magical things start to happen.
So what’s my approach? Along with my executive experience, masters in psychology and coaching training from ]iPEC, I’m also a big believer in listening to your intuition, approaching problems from a place a zen, and tapping into your higher consciousness.
